Con motivo de la celebraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Internacional de las Matem\u00e1ticas y del D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer en este mes de marzo de 2025, desde el DMA, el IMM y el IUMPA se ha organizado el pr\u00f3ximo jueves 27 de marzo la proyecci\u00f3n del documental \u201cSolving the Bonnet Problem\u201d, dirigido por la profesora Ekaterina Eremenko<\/a>, del Institut f\u00fcr Mathematik de la Technische Universit\u00e4t Berlin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este cortometraje sigue el trabajo de tres matem\u00e1ticos mientras colaboran para resolver un antiguo problema geom\u00e9trico, al tiempo que permite presenciar c\u00f3mo se resuelve un problema matem\u00e1tico complejo, comprendiendo algunos de los pasos en falso, avances y \u00e9xitos. El tr\u00e1iler del documental est\u00e1 disponible en Youtube<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La actividad tendr\u00e1 dos partes: en primer lugar, la proyecci\u00f3n del documental (60 min.), y en segundo lugar un coloquio con la matem\u00e1tica y directora del documental. Esta actividad tendr\u00e1 lugar en el Sal\u00f3n de Actos de Rectorado a partir de las 12.15h.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
