Welcome Session for students on the IMM 2026 Corporate Internships, Call B

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, the University Institute of Multidisciplinary Mathematics (IMM) held the Welcome Session for the 2026 Call B Corporate Internships, an event designed to welcome students who will be completing their external internships and final projects at the institute during the last four-month term of the year.

The session was opened by IMM Director Juan Carlos Cortés, who welcomed the students and encouraged them to take advantage of this educational experience as an opportunity to complement their academic training by participating in projects and activities related to the institute’s research areas.

This year, the students joining the program are Álvaro Monteagudo, a student in the Double Degree program in Mathematics and Business Administration and Management, and María Jordá, a student in the Double Degree program in Mathematics and Computer Engineering. Over the coming months, both will complete their final projects at the IMM, integrating into the institute’s research environment and collaborating with its teaching and research staff.
The IMM Internship Program is an initiative designed to introduce students to research activities, encouraging the application of the knowledge they have acquired during their studies and promoting the development of academic and professional skills in a multidisciplinary context.

This second call for Company Internships in 2026 will take place between September and December, reinforcing the IMM’s commitment to education, research, and talent recruitment among students at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
