On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the coordination meeting of the directors of the University Research Institutes of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) was held at the Seminar Hall of the University Institute of Multidisciplinary Mathematics (IMM), marking the first time the IMM has hosted this gathering.
The meeting, held in a hybrid format, is part of an initiative agreed upon by all the institutes’ directors, whereby each session is held at a different center. This approach allows participants to gain firsthand knowledge of the facilities, capabilities, and areas of research at the various institutes, while also fostering the exchange of experiences and strengthening relationships among the different management teams.
During the session, representatives from the institutes addressed issues of common interest related to research activities and institutional coordination, in an atmosphere marked by collaboration and a shared commitment to continuing to promote research excellence at the UPV.
It has been an honor for the IMM to welcome those who, together with our institute, contribute daily to the university’s scientific, technological, and innovation development. These types of gatherings strengthen the ties between the various institutes and foster new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
