Welcome to the IMM 2026 Internship Students

The IMM held the Welcome Day for the IMM 2026 Internship Program, an event designed to welcome the students who will be completing their internships and final projects with us during this academic year.
The event was opened by IMM Director Juan Carlos Cortés, who welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of these internships as an opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired during their academic training in a high-level research environment. He also emphasized the fundamental role of the IMM faculty, who will supervise the final projects associated with these internships.

This year, the students joining the IMM internship program are Elías Meana and Bushra Rani, from the Master’s in Mathematical Research, as well as Damián O. Vañó and Lucía López, students in the dual-degree programs in Mathematics with Civil Engineering and Mathematics with Telecommunications Technology and Services Engineering, respectively. All of them will work on their final projects, actively participating in the institute’s research lines during the period from April to July.

These internships foster closer collaboration between the IMM and students, facilitating their integration into research teams and contributing to their academic and professional development in the field of applied and multidisciplinary mathematics.

The second call for 2026 corporate internships will take place between September and December and is open to students interested in completing their final projects at the IMM.
